today was perfect. i have lots of perfect days and don’t worry, i am normal i have ones that are not so perfect too. but today, it was just that perfect day. i slept in (almost guilt free) listened while my husband hurried in the kitchen to make two lunches and get two kids ready...

two trees have my heart
my dogwood. it is just starting to bud. seems slow this year but maybe i am impatient. maybe so many other things are blooming and i love it so much i just expect to drive over the hill and see it, in all its glory. but i will wait, i know it will not disappoint....

it was a good day, monday morning. a little sadness when my kids woke up and realized that they could not turn on the tv, or play video games, but that quickly turned to amazing imagination and play. we had an awesome breakfast together. a treat of white bread toasted, oatmeal and off to school...
