my old camera is seriously a part of me. so to get a new camera, however similar it is, it is different. so the only way for me to become one, with the new camera, was to put it to use. i knocked on the door of one of my favorite families early sunday morning and started testing it out. belinda is a mom to three beautiful girls, she is a terrific photographer, who always helps me out when i need a second shooter. she is also married to a professional chef and has the most adorable home. it was a perfect chance. no make up, no special clothes, no staged pretend breakfast, this was just their family on a sunday morning. it could not have been more perfect. my ideal session. giggling girls, babies squealing with happiness watching her older sisters and home made vanilla pancakes.
