kelowna family session

i love kelowna. so much. our favorite family friends live there, and since we seem to go there each summer i am starting to build a small network of clients there too. its a wonderful thing. it is such a beautiful location and so inspiring to me.   we have met so many wonderful families while visiting. one thing that i have found is that i love to photograph children around water, in pools, in lakes or oceans. they have so much fun, they are so vibrant and alive and fun. i had a terrific evening with this family, they have such a wonderful playful spirit. they live on a gorgeous piece of property that i totally fell in love with. a pool, a tennis court and sport court, fruit trees, a kitchen that made me want to put my camera bag down and start making dinner… so many things that just made me feel at home. the house was warm, lived in and welcoming. i left with a bottle of local wine and a huge bag of ripe plums from the tree we climbed. next summer i plan to take a few more kelowna family sessions so i will post a notice on my blog to give families lots of notice.
