lunch

it is no surprise now to those who read this blog, and those who know me that i love food. i get excited to cook it, to eat it, to read about it and to talk about it. i love to photograph it, i love to buy it, i love everything about it. one of my favorite places in victoria to eat, to shop at and just to visit is Charelli’s Cheese Shop and Deli. they make the best cheese platters for dinner parties and they sell the best dill pickle chips in the whole city. i think the women who own the store think my husband has a mild addiction and may need some help with this problem. they have actually named him “the dill pickle boy.”  they also make the most amazing sandwiches. i love visiting the shop. i love the ladies that work there. i am not sure i have met happier people ever. every time i walk in there store, i leave a much happier person, just from the encounter i have had with the staff. here was my wonderful sandwich made today by the happy people.
