salt of the earth

the lady told me she tasted the salt and it made her happy, that it just felt right. i smiled, it seemed strange but some how i knew what she meant. we started talking about salt and i asked her to recommend a good salt for everyday use. the epicurean pantry where i was shopping had a whole little corner dedicated to salt, i knew i was in the right place. plus this lady, she was passionate about salt and i loved that. she handed me a little pink bag of beautiful crystals, it was tied with a black silk ribbon. she said.. i always hate to recommend a 14 dollar bag of salt, but it is just so so good and again she smiled. a smile that would light up a room. she seriously loved salt. she actually used the words perfect. so i thought to myself, i need a tiny bit of this pink happiness today and i left with that salt and i happily cooked my mom’s birthday dinner with that pink salt and you know what… that lady was right, tasting the salt did make me happy. it is good and after all, it is pink.

I would have never thought that salt could be so tasty, lol. BTW, I've also started blogging! lol And thinking of even starting the photo biz again... I need to chat with you! :)
