summer with the siebens

we love this family. so much. we love spending time with them and time after time the four parents in this relationship sit and talk and marvel at how well our children get along. how they giggle and laugh and play. they play so hard that the second their heads hit the pillow each night they are snoring. a few days ago we surprised them with a visit. we have a longer trip planned later in the summer to their home, but we just sort of dropped in on them and ended our road trip with two days at their house. it was perfect. the perfect ending to our great adventure. whether it was going out for sushi with the kids, playing in the lake and swimming at night fully clothed, eating ice cream, reading books and telling stories, or playing in the most amazing backyard pool ever there was not a moment that we were not so proud of our children and the connection they have formed with such a special family. we are counting the days until our next kelowna trip.
